Colonial Door Installation – Pennant Hills

The client wanted their existing doors to be replaced with new Colonial Door Installation.

This project involved the replacement of many doors throughout the house, both internal, external as well as a new front entry door.

Internally we created a new cavity slide to replace the cavity sliding door that didn’t work. The old double cavity sliding doors didn’t line up and therefore couldn’t slide properly. To fix this, we removed the gyprock, realigned the door cavity for level, smooth sliding. The job was finished by completing gyprock on the walls and painting them to match the remainder of the room.

Externally we installed colonial doors to match the internal doors, yet designed for the harsher outdoor environment.

Where the previous external doors didn’t all open in the same direction, we ensured that we installed all external doors to open out onto the new replacement deck.

The stunning new Curved Sovereign Iron Entry Door from Sydney Wood Workers was fitted to suit their front door. The Sovereign Iron Door offers fantastic features and beautiful iron adornment. The doors feature a cleaver ability to increase ventilation by opening the windows on the door grill. From the inside of the house, you can turn the glass window section of the door inwards to you. Made from Surian Cedar, we then created a V jointed cladding, outside, with Surian Cedar and lighting to accentuate their front entry and marry in beautifully with the new deck.

The spectacular colonial door installation undertaken throughout the house is eye-catching. It also enhanced the functionality of the house.
